Wisconsin Home Energy Assistance Program (WHEAP)

Provides a one time payment per  heat season for heat & electrical costs and energy crisis situations. The payment is not intended to cover the entire cost of heat for the season. There may also be help with repair or replacement of furnaces. This program is income based. To apply call the Burnett County Dept of Health and Human Services at 715/349-7600 to schedule an appointment.
