The meeting was called to order by Chairman Jim Melin. There were 18 in attendance. Minutes of the November 8, 2017 meeting were read and approved, Hinrichs/Lade/Carried. Treasurer's report was reviewed, there is $374,534.88 in cash assets. Motion to approve Treasurers report Lade/Hinrichs/Carried. Resident Issues: Dennis Quinn, UDC Inspector was present to address issues that Leglers have been experiencing with the inspection of their home. He shared the time line of events and his perspective of this project and answered questions pertaining to his determinations on this project. Marjean Legler provided the board with information explaining their interpretation of the statutes and how they have completed the work on their home to their understanding of the statutes. The board requested Mr. Quinn return to the Legler property and help them to make adequate and reasonable changes to meet the codes as specified and finalize on their project so they can take up occupancy. The board approved the Clerks list of Election Inspectors for 2018-2019, Hinrichs/Lade/Carried. There was a motion made by Lade to have the Treasurer apply for a debit card at Bremer bank, second by Hinrichs. The motion carried. The Clerk presented the board with the 2018-19 Memorandum of Understanding between the Town of Trade Lake and the County of Burnett for Statewide Voter Registration System. There was motion made by Hinrichs to sign this document, second by Lade, the motion carried. Marjean Legler reported that the Frederic Fire Dept. has made 62 calls this year with an average run being 1.7 hours. 13 of these calls were to Trade Lake. There was no report for Grantsburg Fire Assoc. Rd. Mtc. Corey had information on 2 Excavators. The board requested he continue to look for a used Excavator for possible purchase in the spring of 2018. The Board discussed the hiring of a UDC Inspector. Motion by Hinrichs to re contract with Dennis Quinn, second by Lade, the motion carried. Bills in the amount of $21,151.00 were approved for payment, Hinrichs/Lade/Carried. There are no additional agenda items for the January meeting. Chairman Melin will be on vacation for the January meeting. The board thanked the clerk for her years of service. The next meeting will be held on January 11, 2018. There was a motion by Lade to adjourn, second by Hinrichs. The motion carried and the meeting was adjourned. Deborah L. Christian, Clerk
