Meeting was called to order by Chairman Jim Melin. There were 12 in attendance. Minutes of the July 6, 2016 meeting were read and approved, Lade/Hinrichs/Carried. The Treasurers report was reviewed. There is $499,396.22 available in cash assets. Motion to approve Treasurers report, Hinrichs/Lade/Carried. Resident Issues: Recycling was discussed. We will no longer take large items, only those that are accepted in the bins by Northwest Regional Planning Commission. Tom Simonsen with Eva Development presented the board with his intent for the property on Little Trade Lake currently owned by John and Margaret Seeger. He will need rezoning from Ag2 to RR1 for most of the acreage. He requested the board submit a letter to the county zoning administrator to reflect the board's support of this rezone. The clerk will send a letter that we approve if all town requirements for roads in this development are met. We will also require that an official plat is presented to the town board. Motion to send this letter after board approval of the letter by Hinrichs/Lade/Carried. The clerk will publish a notice in the Leader and Advertiser that we will no longer accept additional recyclables, only those accepted by NRPC. The sign for the recycling will be ordered. Hwy. Mtc. Corey has been working on culverts on Freedom Lake Rd and will gravel next. Pine Lake Rd. and Cedar Point Rd. are both complete. The Board authorized Corey to purchase a tough book and also an electric grease gun. The board authorized the clerk to purchase a gift card for Dwight. Bills in the amount of $47,517.66 were approved for payment, Hinrichs/Lade/Carried. Additional agenda items for the September meeting include:Look over bids for Rice Lake Road and Buckland Rd.,The next meeting will be held on September 14, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. There was a motion by Hinrichs to adjourn, second by Lade.
