Chairman Jim Melin called the meeting to order.There were 10 present. Minutes of the February 9, 2017 meeting were approved as read, Hinrichs/Lade/Carried. The Treasurers report was reviewed, cash assets in the amount of $513,298.41 were approved as presented, Lade/Hinrichs/Carried. The new cabinetry for the Town Hall is being built and the component for the East Side is in place, doors to be installed once chosen. The next step is the new ballot boxes which may be ready for the April election. At this point we will wait to see if the budgeted amount is met before the cabinetry for the west side is begun. The lean to for equipment storage and also possible purchase of a salt shed/equipment structure was discussed. There was a motion to re-roof the shop and also the outhouse, Lade/Hinrichs/Carried. Steel price for the new roof is app. $4735.60 and red was the color chosen to match the Town Hall. We will install the roof ourselves. Patsy will check into available waste disposal options and prices as Holdts Disposal has sold to Waste Management. The board will conduct Road Inspection on March 14th at 3:00 pm to commence from the Town Shop. There were no fire reports. Hwy. Mtc. Report: Dwight has been grading, cutting brush and has posted roads. He wired the new cabinet in the Town Hall. Bills in the amount of $647,456.59 were approved for payment, Hinrichs/Lade/Carried. Next meeting will be on April 20th at 6:00 pm. Additional agenda items are; Salt Shed, Waste disposal options The Annual Meeting will immediately follow the Monthly Board Meeting.
